Godfrey Okoye University Commences 2025/2026 Orientation Programme Ahead of Matriculation
Gregory University, Uturu (GUU), has announced that its 14th Matriculation Ceremony will take place on Friday, 20th February 2026 at the University Auditorium, beginning at 10:00 AM. The event will formally induct newly admitted students into the institution’s academic community, marking the start of their academic journey.
Oath-taking: Fresh students will pledge allegiance to the university’s values of scholarship, discipline, and integrity.
Vice-Chancellor’s Address: The VC will deliver a keynote speech, encouraging students to embrace excellence and innovation.
Faculty Procession: Academic staff will lead the traditional procession in full regalia.
The matriculation exercise is compulsory for:
- Undergraduate students admitted for the 2025/2026 academic session.
- Postgraduate students who are new entrants to GUU.
- Students from affiliate programmes who have completed their registration requirements.
Students are required to pay the prescribed fee for hiring academic gowns and official brochures.
Only those who have completed registration and cleared all financial obligations will be allowed to participate.
To ensure smooth participation, here’s what every matriculating student should do before the ceremony:
