Gombe State University Approves 2023/2024 Academic Calendar

The Senate of Gombe State University has approved the 2023/2024 Academic Calendar at its 94th Regular meeting held on May 2, 2024.

According to the approved calendar, the First Semester will commence on April 29, 2024, and end on August 17, 2024, while the Second Semester will begin on September 9, 2024, and end on February 1, 2025.

The calendar includes:

- 3 weeks for students' documentation and registration

- 4 weeks of lectures

- 1-week break

- 8 weeks of lectures

- 3 weeks of examinations

The Second Semester will have:

- 12 weeks of lectures

- 3 weeks of examinations

The Senate meeting for consideration of Second Semester results is scheduled for January 30, 2025, while the End of Session Break will begin on February 2, 2025.
