Gombe State University VC Inspects Abdullahi Mahdi Library to Enhance Academic Support

As part of his ongoing inspection of units and projects within the University, the Vice-Chancellor of Gombe State University, Professor Sani Ahmed Yauta, paid a visit to the Abdullahi Mahdi Library.

The Vice-Chancellor was received by the University Librarian, Dr. Henry Maina Abareh, alongside staff of the University Library. During the visit, the Vice-Chancellor was taken on a tour of the library facilities to assess the state of the infrastructure and services provided to students and staff.

Accompanying the Vice-Chancellor during the inspection was the Director of the Physical Planning Unit, QS. Murtala Salisu, who also provided updates on relevant structural matters within the library.

The visit forms part of the Vice-Chancellor’s routine assessment aimed at strengthening academic support services and ensuring that key facilities in the University meet the required standards.
