The newly constituted executive members of the Parents’ Forum, Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu, on Friday, February 6, 2026, held their inaugural meeting with the Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof. Christian Anieke.

During the meeting, the Vice-Chancellor welcomed the executives and emphasized the need for stronger collaboration between the University and parents to enhance student development. He identified mentorship, internship placements, and structured platforms for parents to share professional expertise as key areas through which parents can contribute meaningfully to students’ academic and personal growth.

The meeting was attended by Sir Chukwuemeka Odimba, Chairman; Hon. Prince Anthony Udaya, Deputy Chairman; Chief Magistrate Onyia Ifeoma, Secretary; Dr. Jude Madukwe, Financial Secretary; Mrs. Chizaram Ulelu, Public Relations Officer; and Lady Jane Kalu Ndukwe, Director of Student Mentorship and Parent Relations.

Responding on behalf of the Forum, the Chairman assured the Vice-Chancellor of the executives’ readiness to work closely with the University Management to support the institution’s vision of building a values-driven, progressive, and student-focused university.
