Gunmen kill Akwanga COE final year student
A 32-year-old final year student of the College of Education (COE), Akwanga, Nasarawa State, Sule Yahaya, was on Thursday, February 9, was shot dead by gunmen suspected to be hired assassins in the Sabo community in the Kuje Area Council of the FCT monitored by myschoolnews.

According to a relative of the deceased, Danlami Aliyu, the assailants dragged Yahaya out of his room and asked him to say his last prayers. He was then shot in the chest and left to die.
He added that the gunmen allegedly told Yahaya that they were only hired to kill him and they left the scene without taking anything from his room.
