Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic Kazaure Clarifies NELFUND Accreditation for Last Year's Applicants

Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic, Kazaure, has addressed concerns regarding NELFUND accreditation for last year’s applicants. The SUG President, Ibrahim Kamarudeen, engaged with the CIT Director, who clarified that final-year students, spillover students, graduates, and those with disciplinary cases are ineligible.

The management of Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic, Kazaure, Jigawa State, has provided clarification regarding the accreditation process for students who applied for the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) last year but have not yet been accredited.

Following concerns raised by affected students, the Students' Union Government (SUG) President, Ibrahim Kamarudeen, engaged with the institution’s CIT Director to address the issue. It was revealed that certain categories of students are ineligible for accreditation under the NELFUND scheme. These include:

  • Final year and final semester students
  • Spillover students
  • Graduated students
  • Students with disciplinary cases

Students who fall into any of these categories have been advised that they are not eligible for accreditation. However, those who do not belong to these groups but have applied are urged to remain patient as the accreditation process is still ongoing.

The CIT Director assured students that successful applicants would be notified, and their names would be published once the accreditation is completed.
