"In order to achieve more than your expectations, be humble" — Prof. Ibrahim Abdullahi, SAN Advises Law Students

Prof. Ibrahim Abdullahi, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and lecturer at Law faculty, Usumanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto (UDUS), has encouraged students to be humble.
This advice came during a final phase of a Legal Pitch competition organized by the office of the Sokoto State director, Law Students Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN), in his honor on the 7th of September, 2024.
The competition saw students from the Faculty of Law and other faculties, witnessing a legal competition between law students from UDUS and ABU.
"In whatever you do in life, be very humble. Your humility can take you to places you can't dream of," he said.
Speaking further, Prof. Abdullahi urged students not to be arrogant if they want people to associate with them. "If you're humble, people will see it in you and want to associate with you. If you're arrogant, they'll run away from you. Opportunity will come to you," he urged students."
