Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU) has officially commenced operations at its newly constructed Senate Building, marking a significant milestone in the institution’s administrative development. The operational commencement service was held on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, with the Vice Chancellor, Professor O.A. Fakolujo, leading the event alongside principal officers and staff members.

The event, which began at 10:00 AM, took place at the foyer of the two-storey Senate Building, signifying the University’s transition from its former administrative hub to the state-of-the-art facility. The new Senate Building now houses the Vice Chancellor’s Office, the Registry, and the Bursary, enhancing administrative efficiency and providing a modern workspace for university management.
