Kaduna State Government Donates Multimillion-Naira Drugs to ABU Medical Centre

The Medical Centre of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, has received a large consignment of drugs worth millions of Naira from the Kaduna State Primary Health Care Board. The donation, which includes 14 different types of medications such as antibiotics, anti-malarial drugs, and vitamins for both children and adults, aims to enhance the medical services offered by the centre.

Dr. Bello Jamoh, Executive Secretary of the Kaduna State Primary Health Care Board, represented by Mrs. Nafisat Musa Isah, Director of Family and Community Care, presented the donation to the Director of University Health Services at ABU, Prof. Muhammed Dauda Maigatari. Dr. Jamoh noted that the donation was intended to support the centre's role in providing healthcare to students, staff, and the surrounding community.

Prof. Maigatari expressed gratitude for the timely donation and assured that the drugs would be used effectively to benefit the university community. He was accompanied by top management staff of the University Health Service during the handover.
