KAEDCO Management Visits Kaduna State University to Strengthen Collaboration

The Management of Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company (KAEDCO), led by its Managing Director, Dr. Umar Abubakar Hashidu, paid a courtesy visit to Kaduna State University (KASU) on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. The visit aimed at reinforcing the partnership between the two institutions while addressing power-related challenges on campus.
During the meeting, discussions centered on mutual areas of benefit, particularly in human capital development, institutional growth, and economic advancement. Dr. Hashidu emphasized the significance of universities like KASU in shaping the future of the power sector. He reiterated KAEDCO’s commitment to fostering collaboration through research initiatives, revenue generation strategies, and student mentorship programs.
Expressing appreciation for the visit, the Vice Chancellor of KASU, Prof. Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa, reaffirmed the University’s willingness to strengthen its partnership with KAEDCO. He acknowledged the company's ongoing efforts to address power challenges on the Kaduna Campus and encouraged further collaboration in research and development.
