KASU Staff Elisha Yari Secures Sponsorship to Attend Prestigious International Conference in Austria

Elisha Yari Dangiwa, PhD, a lecturer in the Department of Economics, Faculty of Social Sciences, College of Management and Social Sciences at Kaduna State University (KASU), has been awarded a prestigious sponsorship to attend the TROPENTAG 2024 conference in Vienna, Austria.

The sponsorship, provided by Tetfund, will cover Dr. Dangiwa's trip to the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU) from September 11-13, 2024.

During the conference, Dr. Dangiwa will present a paper on the impact of energy consumption (fuelwood) on the sustainability of forests in the Afaka forest reserve, Kaduna State, Nigeria. He will also engage with experts in his field, exchanging ideas and gaining new insights.
