Kewulere Babatunde Elected President of Kwara State University Student Union

Kewulere Abdulafeez Babatunde, a student from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, has been elected President of the Student Union of Kwara State University (KWASU). The election, held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, saw Kewulere secure 3,848 votes out of a total 4,632 votes cast.

According to the report by the Students Electoral Committee, signed by Chairman Toheeb Olamide Kolawole and Secretary Adegbola Abel Ayomide, the newly elected executive officers are:

- Vice President: Ireoluwa Oluwaseun Ogungboye

- General Secretary: Hameedat Oluwatimileyin Akanni

- Treasurer: Abdulquadri Abdulganiyu Babatunde
