KHAIRUN Hosts Delegation from Isa Wali Empowerment Initiative to Explore Collaboration

The Vice-Chancellor of Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN), Professor Abdulrashid Garba, received a delegation from the Isa Wali Empowerment Initiative on Tuesday, 14th October 2025, during a courtesy visit aimed at exploring potential areas of collaboration.

Leading the delegation, Ms. Nana Sule expressed gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor and university management for their warm reception. She outlined the initiative’s activities, which focus on empowering women and girls through education, vocational training, parental guidance, and scholarship support for deserving students. The visit was intended to identify avenues for partnership with KHAIRUN in promoting education, empowerment, and community development.

Professor Garba welcomed the delegation, commending the initiative for its impactful work in uplifting women and young girls. He provided an overview of KHAIRUN’s vision and ongoing programmes that align with the goals of the Isa Wali Empowerment Initiative. The Vice-Chancellor emphasized the university’s openness to partnerships that foster education, skill development, and social progress, assuring full support for initiatives that contribute to nation-building and community transformation.
