Kogi State Recovers More Kidnap Victims; Four Still Missing

According to a statement released by the Commisioner for Information and Communication, Honourable Kingsley Olorunfemi Fanwo, four students are still yet to be found. However, there is a glimmer of hope as security forces continue their relentless efforts to locate and rescue them.

The successful rescue operation was made possible by a fierce gun battle between security agencies and the kidnappers. The exchange of gunfire forced the abductors to succumb to the superior firepower of the security forces, leading them to abandon the kidnapped students.

Earlier, nine students were rescued during the initial stages of the operation, with five more found the following morning. The swift and coordinated efforts of the joint security forces have been crucial in ensuring the safe return of the abducted students.
