KWASU Signs MoU With Beijing Institute of Technology on Space Policy and Law Education
Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Beijing Institute of Technology on the Global University Alliance for Outer Space Policy and Law Education.
Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Beijing Institute of Technology on the Global University Alliance for Outer Space Policy and Law Education.

The agreement, which has an initial tenure of six years with an option for renewal, is designed to strengthen collaboration between the two institutions in key academic and research areas.
Under the partnership, both institutions will collaborate in the following areas:
- Faculty training and exchange
- Student training and exchange
- Research development and collaboration
- Joint academic programmes and courses for students
With the signing of the agreement, KWASU becomes the second university in Nigeria to join the Global University Alliance for Outer Space Policy and Law Education.
The alliance is a global cooperation platform that leverages emerging trends in international space governance and focuses on the intersection of outer space policy and law across participating countries.
According to the university, the partnership is expected to promote interdisciplinary collaboration and academic exchange, particularly in the fields of:

- Space law
- Space policy
The collaboration is also expected to strengthen research, teaching and international cooperation in the rapidly evolving field of outer space governance.
