The Directorate of Staff Welfare, Training and Development at Lagos State University organized a one-day in-house training for senior administrators.

The training, themed “Emotional Intelligence: A Catalyst for Effective University Administration,” aimed to prepare participants for leadership roles and promote excellence in service delivery.

The training highlighted the importance of emotional intelligence in effective university leadership and administration. Speakers emphasized the vital role of leadership quality in organizational success and advocated for cultivating emotional intelligence as a critical leadership tool.

Over 100 participants from the university's three campuses attended the training, which featured discussions on leadership, high-quality leadership attributes, and the future of emotional intelligence.
