LASU Initiates Central Admissions Clearance for Full-Time Undergraduate Students in the 2023/2024 Academic Session
Lagos State University (LASU) commences the online admissions clearance process (LACACA) for successfully admitted candidates in the 2023/2024 academic session. The clearance involves a step-by-step approach, including payment of fees and document submission. The process aims to ensure a smooth transition for candidates and offers insights into the progress of their admission clearance. Rejected students are advised to check their portal for reasons and seek further guidance if needed. The online clearance period spans two weeks, starting from January 5, 2024.

As of December 30, 2023, Lagos State University (LASU) officially commences the online admissions clearance process known as LASU Central Admissions Clearance Application (LACACA) for candidates successfully admitted in the 2023/2024 academic session.
Key details about the clearance process:
- LACACA is facilitated by LASU Consult Limited.
- Admitted candidates must participate in the online clearance via the LASU e-payment portal.
- Payment for acceptance, medical, and clearance fees is a prerequisite before starting the clearance process.
Procedure for Payment of LACACA Clearance Fees:
1. Visit lasu.edu.ng/lacaca
2. Enter JAMB Registration Number in the "Matriculation Number / Application Number" field.
3. Choose "FULL-TIME UNDERGRADUATE LACACA" from the payment description dropdown.
4. Provide a valid Email Address and Phone numbers.

Step-by-step Approach to Complete the LACACA Operation:
1. Visit LASU Website – https://www.lasu.edu.ng
2. Navigate to the STUDENT Tab and click on UG LACACA.
3. Enter the UTME registration number and surname, then click Submit.
Candidates must complete the following tasks on their dashboard:
(a) Supply NIN
(b) Supply LASRRA ID
(c) Validate basic bio-data details
(d) Verify disability status
(e) Upload O’Level scratch card details.
(f) Upload original birth certificate.
(g) Upload original UTME Results.
(h) Upload original JAMB Admission Letter.
(i) Upload scanned Signature.
(j) Submit the application by checking the “I Agree” text box and then click on Submit.
Upon reaching 100% clearance progress, successful candidates can print LASU Admission Clearance Certificate for the 2023/2024 Academic Session and receive an assigned Matriculation Number.
The online clearance period starts on Friday, January 5, 2024, and lasts for two weeks. Rejected students should check their portal for rejection reasons and visit the Admission Office on the 3rd Floor, Senate Building, Main Campus, Ojo, if necessary.
