The academic community is celebrating the exceptional success of Lydia Ogar, who has graduated with First-Class Honours from the Department of Biochemistry at the Federal University Gusau (FUGUS).

Ogar achieved this milestone with a notable Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.60/5.00. Reflecting on her journey in January 2026, she described the achievement as a testament to resilience, noting that she overcame periods of fear and exhaustion through persistent effort.

Her success adds to the growing profile of the Faculty of Science at Federal University Gusau, which recently matriculated over 900 new students for the 2025/2026 academic session as part of its continued expansion.
