Mama Yalwa College of Nursing & Health Sciences Announces Admission for Basic Midwifery Programme

The Mama Yalwa College of Nursing & Health Sciences, located at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Misau in Bauchi State, Nigeria, has announced admission for the Basic Midwifery Programme for the 2024/2025 academic session.

The programme is designed for suitably qualified female candidates who meet the specified admission requirements.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission, candidates must possess:

- Five (5) O'Level credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics

- Credits obtained in not more than two (2) sittings in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB

- Acceptable combinations include WAEC & WAEC, NECO & NECO, or WAEC & NECO

Application Process

Interested candidates can apply through two options:

1. Visit the College Registration Office and obtain the application form after paying a non-refundable fee of N10,200.

2. Visit the school website and follow the instructions to complete payment and application.

- Submission Deadline: March 21, 2025

- Screening Date: March 22, 2025

- Screening Venue: Mama Yalwa College of Nursing & Health Sciences, FMC Misau Temporary site

- Screening Time: 7:00 AM prompt

Screening Process

The screening process will include a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and Oral Interview. Candidates are required to bring their original credentials and screening/examination exercise form.
