Meet Khadijah Adisa, Al-Hikmah University’s Cybersecurity Best Graduating Student
In an era where digital security is paramount, Khadijah Adisa has emerged not only as a specialist but as a standout scholar and leader. Graduating with First Class Honours in Cybersecurity, Khadijah secured her place as the Best Graduating Student in her department and the 3rd Best Graduating Student in the Faculty of Computing, Engineering, and Technology at Al-Hikmah University.
Khadijah’s journey was defined by a rare balance of academic rigor and social impact. Refusing to be "just a student," she dedicated her time to:
Community Leadership: Leading a vibrant student community and fostering collaboration among peers.
Volunteerism: Organizing high-impact events, including a landmark session that hosted over 500 attendees.
Balance: Successfully navigating the complex demands of a technical degree while maintaining her commitment to extracurricular growth.
For Khadijah, the realization of her achievement was a gradual process. She notes that the weight of her milestone only truly resonated when she allowed herself the space to pause, reflect, and practice self-grace.
"The convocation ceremony celebrated my academic excellence," she shared, "but more importantly, it reminded me of the discipline, consistency, and faith that carried me through the process."
Khadijah Adisa’s story serves as a powerful reminder that excellence is not found solely in textbooks, but in the intersection of hard work, leadership, and unwavering faith. As she transitions into the professional world, she stands as a trailblazer for young women in STEM and a proud ambassador of Al-Hikmah University.
