In a major boost for affordable tertiary education, the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has officially disbursed the sum of ₦104,706,000.00 to Sule Lamido University (SLU), Kafin Hausa, for the 2025/2026 academic session. 

This significant financial intervention directly benefits 3,384 undergraduate students, effectively clearing their tuition and essential statutory charges. 

The disbursement marks a pivotal moment in the university’s integration into the Federal Government’s student loan scheme. By alleviating the financial burden on thousands of students and their families, the initiative ensures uninterrupted academic pursuits and promotes inclusive access to higher education in Jigawa State.
