Minister Commissions E-Tricycles at BUK Under Renewed Hope Scheme

The Federal Government's Renewed Hope agenda saw a significant rollout in sustainable campus mobility today, with the formal launch of an Electric (E-Tricycle) Transportation Scheme at Bayero University, Kano (BUK).

Professor Suwaiba Ahmad Said, the Honourable Minister of State for Education, presided over the commissioning ceremony. Twenty new solar-powered tricycles were officially introduced to the university community to provide eco-friendly transportation options across the campus.

During the event, Professor Haruna Musa, Vice Chancellor of Bayero University, expressed profound gratitude to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for actualizing this initiative. Professor Musa highlighted the scheme as a vital step in modernizing campus infrastructure while aligning with national sustainability goals.
