MOAUM Management and Non-Teaching Unions Hold Strategic Welfare Meeting
The Management of Reverend Father Moses Orshio Adasu University (MOAUM) held a strategic consultative meeting with the leadership of the university’s non-teaching staff unions on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
The session brought together representatives from the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU), and the National Association of Academic Technologists (NAAT). Discussions centered on critical administrative matters and the enhancement of staff welfare across the institution.
The union delegation, led by SSANU Chairman Luper Shishi, NASU Chairman Samuel Terfa Hembaor, and NAAT Chairman Jacob Manyam, engaged in a productive dialogue aimed at addressing the specific needs of non-teaching personnel.
Addressing the union leaders, the Vice-Chancellor expressed his gratitude for their support and cooperation since his appointment as the 8th Vice-Chancellor of the university. He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to prioritizing staff well-being, noting that consistent engagement is vital for maintaining industrial harmony.
"Staff welfare remains a top priority," the Vice-Chancellor stated, urging the unions to maintain an open line of communication with Management to ensure steady institutional progress and a stable working environment.
