Modibbo Adama University Releases Condolence message on the passing of Alumna Zahra Mustapha Mallum

The Modibbo Adama University (MAU) community, through the MAU Stars, announces with heavy hearts the passing of Zahra Mustapha Mallum, a distinguished alumna of the institution.

Zahra, a graduate of the Department of Architecture, Class of 2019, passed away in the early hours of today, Sunday, 18th January 2026.

In a statement released to the university community, MAU Stars expressed profound grief over the loss of a vibrant member of the alumni network. "We pray that Allah (SWT) in His infinite mercy forgives her shortcomings, expands her final resting place, and grants her Aljannatul Firdaus," the message read.

The University extends its deepest sympathies to her family, friends, and former colleagues in the Department of Architecture, praying that they find the strength and fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.
