MTN Foundation has awarded over N2.5 billion in scholarships to Nigerian students since 2013. During the final ceremony in Lagos, over 1,000 students received scholarships, each worth N300,000 annually, covering tuition, book allowance, and stipends.

The scholarships are part of MTN’s Youth Development program, supporting students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields and blind students. University of Ibadan Registrar, Ganiyu Oke Saliu, and Lagos State Youth Commissioner, Hon. Mobolaji Ogunlende, praised MTN’s impact on education.
