Muslim Students' Society of Nigeria Hosts Jihad Week at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto

The Muslim Students' Society of Nigeria (MSSN) at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, is set to host its annual Jihad Week from October 4 to October 6, 2024. Themed "Blessed Are the Strangers," this year's event will feature various speakers and activities aimed at enlightening participants on important Islamic topics.

The week will kick off on Friday, October 4, with Mal. Bello Dan Malan as the guest speaker, presenting on the topic "Palestine: A Call to All Muslims." The session will take place at the UDUTH CHS Auditorium at 8:30 PM.

On Saturday, October 5, two guest speakers, Dr. Sadi Shabeh and Dr. Nasir Abubakar Kigo, will discuss "Magaco: Marry Me Fisabilillah" at the ETF 3 Lecture Hall, also at 8:30 PM. For female students, a special session titled "Life After Graduation: Marital Life, Entrepreneurship & Health Talk" will be held at the PTF at 9:00 AM.

The event will conclude on Sunday, October 6, with a talk by Sheikh Abdul Azeez Oyetunde on "Virtues of Islamic Leadership." This session will include a prize-giving ceremony, certificate presentation, and inauguration of the new executives. It is scheduled to take place at the ETF 3/Auditorium at 9:30 AM.
