NAKSS-UDUS to Host Orientation Programme and Sallah Feast

The National Association of Kwara State Students (NAKSS) of Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto (UDUS) is organizing its annual orientation programme and Sallah feast, scheduled to take place on April 5, 2025, at the MH2 Udus permanent site.

The event promises to be engaging, featuring a lecture by Prof. K G Muhammad, as well as various activities such as a red-carpet ceremony, networking, dancing, eating, and oratory contests. A ticket fee of ₦500 has been set for the event.

A highlight of the programme is the Dasuki Ibrahim Jumat Prize oratory contest, which will involve students from Osun, Oyo, Ogun, and Kwara states. The contest winner and first runner-up will receive ₦6,000 and ₦4,000, respectively. The theme of the oratory contest is "The Impact of Natasha's Suspension on Women's Political Participation."
