NANS President visit Fed poly Damaturu, commends Rector for improving Students' welfare

The President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Comrade Oladoja Olashola visited Federal Polytechnic Damaturu on Monday, commending Rector Dr. Ibrahim Bello Bashir for improvements in student welfare and overall development. 

 This visit is said to have positively impacted the institution's image and fostered a stronger sense of belonging among the student body.

The NANS President advocated for greater student involvement in decision-making processes.

The Registrar, Muazu Aliyu Ilyasu, accepting the visit on the Rector's behalf, acknowledged the Rector's achievements and emphasized the collaborative relationship between the Polytechnic's management and its students, exemplified by student participation in committees such as the Budget Monitoring Committee overseeing federally funded projects.

The Students' Union Government (SUG) President, Comrade Abdulkadir Suleman, escorted the NANS President to the Registrar and praised the Dean of Students Affairs, Dr. Hafsat Abubakar, and the Students Affairs Officer, Haruna Abdullahi, for their accessible and responsive approach.
