National Association of Kano Students Society Mourns the Passing of Galadiman Kano

The National Association of Kano Students Society (NAKSS) has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Galadiman Kano, Alhaji Abbas Sunusi Bayero. The visit, led by NAKSS President Amb. Ashabulkhair Labaran, took place on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at the Galadiman's residence in Gwangwazo Quarter.

The late Galadiman Kano was a renowned elder statesman and father of the Kano State APC Chairman, Abdullahi Abbas. NAKSS President described his demise as a great loss that creates a huge vacuum, which cannot be easily filled.

NAKSS has prayed for Allah's forgiveness and mercy upon the deceased, granting him Jannatul Firdaus and giving his family and the entire Kano emirate the strength to bear the loss. The association also extended its condolences to the immediate family, especially Prince Abdullahi Abbas, the Kano emirate, and Kano State.

Similar condolences have been pouring in from various dignitaries, including Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, who described the late Galadiman Kano as a distinguished elder statesman and a pillar of the Kano Emirate.
