The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna, has commenced the sale of application forms for admission into its Postgraduate Programmes under the Department of Defence and Security Studies for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna, has commenced the sale of application forms for admission into its Postgraduate Programmes under the Department of Defence and Security Studies for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

According to the announcement, the online application process opened on 15 December 2025 and will close on 15 March 2026.

The Academy disclosed that admissions are available into both academic and professional postgraduate programmes.

Academic Postgraduate Programmes
– PhD in Defence and Strategic Studies
– MSc in Defence and Strategic Studies

Professional Master’s Programmes
– Master in Conflict Resolution and Peace Building (MCRPB)
– Master in Strategy and Security Administration (MASSA)
– Master in Defence Security and Strategic Studies (MDSSS)
– Master in International Security and Humanitarian Studies (MISHS)

Postgraduate Diploma Programmes
– Postgraduate Diploma in Defence Security and Strategic Studies (PGDDSSS)
– Postgraduate Diploma in Strategy and Security Administration (PGDSSA)
– Postgraduate Diploma in Conflict Resolution and Peace Building (PGDCRPB)

Application Requirements

Applicants are required to provide the following during the application process:
– Completed online application form
– Relevant academic certificates and transcripts
– NYSC discharge or exemption certificate (where applicable)
– Birth certificate or age declaration
– Valid means of identification
– Recent passport photograph
– Evidence of payment of the prescribed application fee

Applicants seeking admission into PhD programmes are also expected to possess a relevant Master’s degree and may be required to submit a research proposal, while Master’s and PGD applicants must meet programme-specific academic requirements as stipulated by the Academy.
