NELFUND Director Akintunde Sawyerr Leads Student Loan Sensitization at UNN

The Director of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), Mr. Akintunde Sawyerr, has led his team to the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), Enugu State, for a sensitization exercise on student loans.

This visit is part of NELFUND’s ongoing efforts to spread awareness of the Federal Government's loan initiative for students in tertiary institutions across Nigeria.

During the event, students were briefed on how to apply for the loan and how it can support them in completing their academic programs despite current economic challenges. Sawyerr emphasized the importance of financial assistance in ensuring that no student is forced to abandon their education due to financial constraints.

The exercise, held at the Princess Alexandra Auditorium, also included interactive sessions where students had the opportunity to ask questions and seek clarifications regarding the loan application process.

This initiative continues to support thousands of Nigerian students, helping them stay enrolled and complete their education.
