SSANU NSUK Re-elects Simon Yakubu as Chairman for Another Term

The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) Chapter, has re-elected Comrade Simon Yakubu as its Chairman for another term.

 

The re-election took place during the Third Quadrennial Congress of SSANU NSUK Chapter, held at the university's 1,000-seater auditorium on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.

Comrade Mohammed Na'ibi, State Secretary of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) Nasarawa State Chapter, urged union leaders to project a positive image of their organizations and promote purposeful leadership, welfare, and a positive image of the organization.

 

The Vice-Chancellor of NSUK, Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman, represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration, Professor Theophilus Daniel Lagi, assured the union that the management is working towards enhancing the welfare of both academic and non-academic staff.

The re-elected executives, led by Comrade Simon Yakubu, were inaugurated by the National Vice President, North Central, Comrade Abubakar Aliyu, who charged them to sustain their hard work and prioritize members' welfare.

 

Comrade Yakubu thanked members for their support and solicited continued backing for the next four years.
