New Director Appointed at NOUN Idah Community Study Centre

The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) has appointed Mr. Akubo Anthony as the new Director of its Idah Community Study Centre in Kogi State, effective May 20, 2025.

The appointment follows the retirement of Mr. Emmanuel A. Amanabo, who served as the centre's Acting Director from 2016 to 2025.

During a brief handover ceremony, Mr. Amanabo expressed confidence in the centre's future leadership, praising Mr. Akubo's ability to carry forward the university's vision and mission. Mr. Amanabo also appreciated the university management for their support during his tenure.

Mr. Akubo congratulated his predecessor on his retirement and birthday, and pledged to work with staff, students, and partners to expand the centre's reach and impact.
