Nigeria Police Academy Cadet Hillary Ugwu Honored for International Research on Transnational Cybercrime

The Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, is proud to celebrate a remarkable academic achievement by one of its cadets, Hillary Nwabueze Ugwu, a member of Regular Course 8 from the Department of History and International Studies, who recently received an international certificate of publication.  

His research article titled “Combating Transnational Crime in Nigeria: An Examination of the Activities of Interpol in Curbing Cybercrime, 2000–2024” was published in the prestigious International Journal of Social Science and Human Research.

The 24th Commandant of the Academy, AIG Patrick A. Atayero, MSc (UK), MBA (USA), psc, MSPSP, formally celebrated the cadet’s achievement and extended the warm congratulations of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PhD, NPM. He reaffirmed the Academy’s unwavering commitment to promoting academic excellence and discipline.
