Nigerian Maritime University Announces Pre-Degree Admission for 2025/2026 Academic Session

The Nigerian Maritime University (NMU), Okerenkoko, Delta State, has opened applications for its 2025/2026 Pre-Degree Programme, scheduled to commence on January 11, 2026.

In a statement issued by the Registrar, Dr. Paul Bebenimibo, the pre-degree programme is designed to prepare qualified candidates for admission into various undergraduate programmes across the faculties of Engineering, Transport, Environmental Management, and Science.

Dr. Bebenimibo noted that the programme offers an excellent academic foundation for students aspiring to secure admission into NMU’s degree programmes upon successful completion.

Available Degree Pathways:

• Faculty of Engineering: Marine Engineering, Petroleum & Gas Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering
• Faculty of Transport: Transport Logistics Management, Maritime Economics & Finance, Nautical Science, Port Management
• Faculty of Environmental Management: Environmental Management & Pollution, Fisheries & Aquaculture, Meteorology & Climate Change
• Faculty of Science: Biology, Computer Science, Industrial Chemistry, Industrial Mathematics, Industrial Physics
