The Northwest Skills and Innovation Hub (NSIH) Program is set to foster talent and drive innovation across the Northwest zone of Nigeria. The program invites applications from qualified individuals eager to advance their skills and entrepreneurial ventures. Below are the detailed eligibility criteria and guidelines for interested candidates.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Residency: Applicants must be residents of the Northwest zone and an indigene of one of the eligible Northwest states.
  2. Educational Qualifications: Applicants should possess at least an SSCE certificate or higher qualifications such as ND, NCE, HND, or a Bachelor’s degree.
  3. National Identification: A valid National Identification Number (NIN) is required.
  4. Bank Verification: Applicants must have a valid Bank Verification Number (BVN).
  5. Age Requirement: Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
  6. Application Submission: Applicants need to submit an online application form.
  7. Recent Passport Photograph: A recent passport-sized photograph must be provided.
  8. Business Registration: Applicants must have a business registration number, which could be a CAC number or Smendan number.
  9. Referee: At least one referee must be provided.
  10. Document Uploads: Candidates are required to upload all necessary documents as part of their application.

Eligible States: The NSIH Program is open to residents of the following seven states in the Northwest zone:

  1. Jigawa
  2. Kaduna
  3. Kano
  4. Katsina
  5. Kebbi
  6. Sokoto
  7. Zamfara
