NSE Inducts 556 LAUTECH Engineering Graduates Into the Profession
No fewer than 556 engineering graduates of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, have been formally inducted into the engineering profession by the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).
No fewer than 556 engineering graduates of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, have been formally inducted into the engineering profession by the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).

The induction ceremony, jointly organised by the NSE and LAUTECH, marked the official admission of the graduates into professional engineering practice.
Speaking at the event, the President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Engr. Ali Alimasuya Rabiu, urged the new engineers to focus on how their skills and knowledge can be deployed to improve Nigerian society. He charged them to see their careers not just as a means of livelihood, but as a platform for national development.
Engr. Rabiu, who was represented by the Chairman of the NSE Pioneer (Ibadan) Branch, Engr. Ayokunu Olukunmi Ojedele, congratulated the inductees and reminded them of their responsibility to uphold the integrity, values, and professional standards of the Nigerian Society of Engineers.
The Vice-Chancellor of LAUTECH, Professor Razaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu, noted that the graduates had benefitted from the commitment, sacrifices, and expertise of many Nigerians throughout their training. He urged them to remain mindful of the investments made by their parents and the dedication of their lecturers, and to consistently strive to be high-quality professionals.

Represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and Innovations), Professor Dahud Olurotimi Araromi, the Vice-Chancellor reaffirmed the University’s commitment to sustaining LAUTECH’s status as one of Nigeria’s leading institutions for engineering education.
