As part of its East Africa Linkage Mission, Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), has taken steps to advance its internationalisation agenda by engaging with Tanzanian authorities.

During the visit, the NSUK delegation met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, James Kinyasi Millya (MP), to discuss strategies for deepening cooperation among African nations through higher education, research, and innovation.

The discussions highlighted the need for Africa to leverage the expertise of its intellectuals to develop home-grown solutions to the continent’s developmental challenges. Both parties emphasised the critical role of academic partnerships, staff and student exchanges, and collaborative research in promoting sustainable growth across the region.
