It also said the Scheme would ensure the provision of enabling environment for staff to achieve optimal productivity with the deployment of ICT solutions.
Myschoolnews reports the NYSC Director General, Brigadier General Yusha'u Dogara Ahmed disclosed this today in his address at the ICT Training Workshop for NYSC State Coordinators with the theme; "Sustaining Digitization of NYSC Operations: The Role of State Coordinators", held in Abuja.
The DG advised the Coordinators to adapt to evolving technological trends on data integrity and security in order to enhance their performances.
He equally urged them to utilize the opportunities of the workshop to play their roles on the NYSC Integrated Platform effectively.
"I wish to remind you that the usage of Information Technology in our daily activities comes with challenges.
NYSC is in custody of huge volume of Corps data, therefore, adequate precaution is necessary in processing them", the DG said.
In her welcome address, the Director, ICT, Mrs Christy Uba said the aim of the workshop was to equip the participants with the requisite skills for their roles in the NYSC digitalization process.
"We are in a real time of exceptional growth with cutting-edge technology driving most of our activities.
In order to avoid being lagging behind, there is need to take advantage of these new opportunities", she said.
