The Oyo State Government has appointed Mr. Adewunmi Ogunjimi as Acting Registrar and Mr. David Taiwo as Acting Bursar of The Polytechnic, Ibadan.

The Oyo State Government has announced the appointment of Mr. Adewunmi Ogunjimi as Acting Registrar and Mr. David Taiwo as Acting Bursar of The Polytechnic, Ibadan. The appointment letters, conveying the approval of the Oyo Commissioner for Education, Science, and Technology on behalf of the State Government, were dated April 8th and signed by the Acting Rector of the Institution, Dr. Taiwo Lasisi.

Mr. Adewunmi Ogunjimi, a seasoned Administrator, previously served as the Deputy Registrar in the Directorate of Academic Affairs at The Polytechnic. He holds a B.Sc degree in Psychology from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) and obtained an MSc in Industrial Psychology from the University of Ibadan. With an illustrious career spanning decades, Ogunjimi has held various positions of responsibility within the institution, showcasing his administrative prowess and commitment to service. He is a member of numerous professional bodies and has received several honorary awards in recognition of his contributions. Ogunjimi is happily married and blessed with children.

On the other hand, Mr. David Taiwo, the newly appointed Acting Bursar, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Prior to his appointment, Taiwo served as the Chief Accountant at The Polytechnic, Ibadan, where he demonstrated exceptional financial management skills. He holds HND, B.Sc, and MSc degrees in Accounting and is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA). Throughout his tenure at the institution, Taiwo has held various positions within the Bursary Department, including Head of Treasury Unit and Head of Final Accounts Unit. He is also happily married and blessed with responsible children.
