Zamfara state witnesses a commendable act of generosity as philanthropist Sanusi Bala Turaki, through the "Maituta Support Organisation (MSO)," grants scholarships to 13 students from various tertiary institutions in the state.

The benevolent gesture, aimed at easing the financial burdens of less-privileged families, includes covering the registration fees of the beneficiaries. The presentation ceremony took place in Gusau, with Zaharadeen Sarki representing Sanusi Bala at the event.

Chairman of the foundation, Zaharadeen Sarki, affirmed the commitment to sustaining such gestures throughout the students' academic journey. He highlighted that all 13 beneficiaries, enrolled in various courses at institutions including the Federal University and Federal College of Education (Technical) in Gusau, were selected from families facing financial constraints.

Former Chairman of Zamfara Radio and Television Services, Alhaji Sa’idu Maishanu, expressed appreciation for the support provided by Bala Turaki and the MSO officials, urging political officeholders in the state to emulate such philanthropy.
