Plateau State University (PLASU) has officially published the academic calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session, detailing schedules for registration, lectures, examinations, breaks, and Senate meetings.

Management urged both fresh and returning students to acquaint themselves with the timeline and adhere strictly to the dates.

First Semester
The first semester opens in September 2025 and concludes in February 2026.

  • Monday, September 29, 2025: Registration begins for fresh students.
  • Monday, October 6, 2025: Registration commences for returning students.
  • Monday, October 13, 2025: Registration closes; lectures begin.
  • Monday, November 3, 2025: Admission closes.
  • Tuesday, November 4 – Thursday, November 6, 2025: Orientation for fresh students.
  • Friday, November 7, 2025: Matriculation ceremony.
  • Monday, December 22, 2025 – Friday, January 2, 2026: Christmas break.
  • Monday, January 5, 2026: School resumes.
  • Friday, January 9, 2026: Lectures end.
  • Monday, January 12 – Friday, January 16, 2026: Revision week; continuous assessment scores submitted.
  • Monday, January 19, 2026: Examinations begin.
  • Wednesday, February 4, 2026: Examinations end.
  • Tuesday, February 17 – Friday, February 20, 2026: Board meetings for result consideration.
  • Monday, February 23 – Friday, March 27, 2026: Results scrutiny continues.

The semester features 15 weeks of lectures, two weeks of examinations, and nearly a month dedicated to result processing.
