Prince Abubakar Audu University Inaugurates New SUG Executive
The management of Prince Abubakar Audu University today inaugurated the newly elected executives of the Student Union Government (SUG), marking a new chapter of student leadership in the institution.
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Marietu Ohunene Tenuche, ably represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration), assured the students of the management's commitment to supporting the SUG in its efforts to promote student welfare and good leadership. The Deputy Vice Chancellor emphasized that the management doesn’t interfere with the SUG's affairs, but rather looks forward to collaborating with the new leadership to achieve common goals.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic), the University Registrar, the Dean of Student Affairs, the EDS Director, Deans of Faculties, Heads of Departments, the immediate past SUG executives, faculty presidents, departmental presidents, students, and other distinguished guests.
During the ceremony, the University Electoral Committee Chairman presented the newly elected executive , who took the oath of office, signifying their commitment to serving the students of Prince Abubakar Audu University.
Comrade Rilwan Abubakar Obaje gave speech as the SUG President, assured students of his unwavering commitment to delivering on his campaign promises and manifesto.
Comrade Rilwan Abubakar Obaje said. I will work tirelessly to address the issues that affect us as students, and I invite every student to join me in this journey to make Prince Abubakar Audu University a better place for all.
