Prof. Owolabi Urges Private Universities to Lead in Innovation and National Development at Summit University Offa

Professor Sunday Ajayi Owolabi, a leading scholar in Accounting from Babcock University, highlighted the pivotal role of private universities in national development during his visit to Summit University, Offa. The distinguished academic, known for his expertise in Corporate Governance, Financial Management, and Public Sector Accounting, addressed the university’s academic community, including Vice-Chancellor, staff members, and students.

In his address, Professor Owolabi emphasized the importance of innovation and leadership within the academic sector. He urged professors to mentor and inspire their students, advocating for a cycle of knowledge transfer that fosters innovation and promotes excellence. “Private universities are vital in spearheading innovation and contributing significantly to national educational development,” he stated.
