Redeemer's University has officially entered the executive business education landscape with the grand inauguration of the Redeemer's University Business School (RUBS). The ceremony, held on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Redemption City, marks a strategic expansion for the institution into high-level professional training and leadership development.

The Business School was officially commissioned by Pastor Folu Adeboye, wife of the Visitor to the University and Mother-in-Israel of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). In an atmosphere of celebration, she offered prayers for the institution’s growth, declaring that its progress would "know no limits."

Speaking on the school's mission, the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Prof. Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, emphasized that RUBS is a "necessary solution" to a global crisis of character. He stated that the school aims to produce leaders of uncompromising integrity who can navigate the complexities of modern business with a moral compass.

Pastor Kayode Pitan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, echoed this vision, noting that the school’s curriculum is designed to empower men and women to "do exploits in the marketplace" while driving positive national transformation.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Shadrach Olufemi Akindele, expressed gratitude to the newly inaugurated Board of Members, which comprises top-tier corporate executives.

Among the board members is Mr. Ade Buraimo, MD/CEO of Alpha Morgan Bank, who highlighted the board's competitive advantage. He noted that members would leverage their experiences from global institutions like Harvard Business School and the school's proximity to Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial nerve center, to ensure RUBS graduates are both "professionally superior technocrats and morally sound."

The inauguration signals Redeemer’s University’s commitment to bridging the gap between academic theory, spiritual values, and real-world corporate success.
