'Refund Ongoing in Batches' — EKSU Refutes Withholding NELFUND Tuition Refunds

The Ekiti State University, EKSU, has refuted claims that it is withholding NELFUND tuition refunds, stating that the refund process is ongoing in batches.  

The University clarified that it is working with the Nigerian Education Loan Fund, NELFUND, to ensure all eligible students receive their refunds without delay.  

According to EKSU, payments are being processed in phases in line with the modalities set by NELFUND, and students are advised to be patient as disbursement continues.  

The Management urged students and stakeholders to disregard reports suggesting the University is deliberately delaying the refunds, noting that *no funds have been withheld.  

EKSU reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and to ensuring that beneficiaries of the NELFUND scheme receive the full benefits due to them.
