Remain Dedicated And Steadfast To The Ideals Of Hardwork - Gov Sani Bello advises Corps Members

Corps members have been advised to remain dedicated and steadfast to the ideals of hardwork in the discharge of their duties at their respective places of primary assignments.

Myschoolnews reports this advice was given by His Excellency the Executive Governor of Niger State, Alhaji Dr Abubakar Sani Bello, during the closing ceremony of the just concluded 2023 Batch A Stream II Orientation Course at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Paiko, Niger State.

In his address, the Governor stated that the Scheme over the years has continued to record numerous landmark achievements, charging the corps members to sustain these efforts by making positive impacts in the areas of Healthcare, Rural Infrastructure, Education and Agricultural sectors of the Nigerian economy.

The Executive Governor who was represented by the SSG/Chairman NYSC State Governing Board, Alhaji Ahmed Ibrahim Matane extolled the uncountable successes recorded by the scheme which always results in the development of the country majorly through the efforts and selfless services of corps members.

He also encouraged the corps members to improve on the skills acquired during the SAED In-camp training by availing themselves of opportunities for post-camp training as this will go a long way in empowering them for self-reliance, while also enabling them to become employers of labour.

He admonished them to be wary of negative acts that are capable of portraying the Scheme in bad light and avoid the temptation to indulge in drug abuse, cybercrime among other social vices.

Alhaji Matane also presented certificates of commendation to camp officials who distinguished themselves in their assigned schedules courtesy of the NYSC Niger State Management at the event.
