In a heartfelt plea to Governor Peter Mbah, 94 sacked lecturers of the Enugu State College of Education, Technical (ESCET), have appealed for their reinstatement. The lecturers, who were terminated from their positions following recommendations from a committee set up by the state government, expressed deep concern over the impact of their dismissal on their families.

The group, represented by individuals such as Egbo Doris and Njideka Frank, highlighted their dedication and contributions to the institution, citing achievements such as success in the 2023 TETFAIR program. They emphasized their commitment to the growth of the college despite facing challenges such as irregular salary payments.
