Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso Celebrates 68th Birthday, Hails Education as Top Achievement

Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, a former governor of Kano State and minister in Nigeria, marked his 68th birthday by inaugurating the ultra-modern auditorium at Skyline University Nigeria (SUN), named in his honor.

During the ceremony, Kwankwaso emphasized that education remains his most significant accomplishment, surpassing his numerous achievements in other sectors .

Kwankwaso, who played a pivotal role in attracting investors to Kano's private higher education sector, expressed pride in SUN's remarkable progress, stating, "Skyline University Nigeria was my top priority... Today, the world is impressed with the rankings that the university has reached in its 7th year of academic engagements in the state." He acknowledged that SUN's presence has spurred the establishment of other private universities in Kano .

Prof. Ajith Kumar V. V., Vice-Chancellor of SUN, praised Kwankwaso's commitment to education, while Mr. Nitin Anand, Pro-Chancellor, acknowledged the senator's unwavering support. Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State pledged continued recognition of private institutions' contributions to public education .

 

Distinguished guests, including the deputy governor, legislators, and commissioners, attended the ceremony, which highlighted Kwankwaso's enduring legacy in education.
