Seven Bayero University Kano Staff Inducted into ANAN Membership

Seven senior staff from Bayero University Kano's (BUK) Bursary and Internal Audit departments were inducted into the prestigious Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) membership.

The induction ceremony took place in Dutse, Jigawa State, following the staff's successful completion of qualifying examinations.

The inductees:

- Aminu Abdullahi Yakasai (Bursary)

- Uzairu Idris Dambazau (Bursary)

- Shitu Musa Isa (Bursary)

- Ibrahim Abdullahi Rabiu (Bursary)

- Abba Ado Abubakar (Bursary)

- Musa Alhaji Garba (Bursary)

- Hassan Salisu Ahmad (Internal Audit)

Vice Chancellor Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas sponsored the staff's certification, aiming to boost morale and enhance performance through capacity building.

Aminu Yakasai, one of the inductees, expressed gratitude to the management, stating:

"This certification is a milestone for every accountant. We're grateful to Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas for supporting our professional growth."

The ANAN or ICAN certification is mandatory for accountants to practice at the highest level, as stipulated by law.
